We're a small team building the best remote job board on the internet. We're profitable, fully distributed, and growing steadily.
Who we are
RemoteFold was started in 2021 by two people who kept having the same problem: finding a remote job meant wading through job boards that were mostly office jobs with "remote" tacked on. We built the platform we wished existed.
We're now a team of 14, all fully remote across 7 countries. We've been profitable since 2023 and we're not looking for outside investment. We grow by making the product better, not by spending on ads.
The team is senior-heavy. We don't hire a lot, but when we do, we look for people who can own their area without a lot of hand-holding. Most of us have worked at larger companies before and prefer the pace and clarity of a small team.
How we work
Remote by default, not by exception
We built a remote job board because we believe remote work is better for most people. We live that ourselves. No hybrid compromise, no return-to-office pressure.
Async first
Decisions get made in writing. Meetings are optional and recorded. We default to documentation over real-time coordination. Calendars are sparse by design.
Small team, real ownership
We have 14 people. Everyone owns something meaningful. We don't have layers of management or committees. If you build it, you're accountable for it working.
Transparency over comfort
We share financials with the full team. We talk honestly about what's not working. We'd rather hear hard feedback early than discover it six months late.
Sustainable pace
We don't pull all-nighters before launches. We don't expect nights and weekends. We plan for humans, not for machines. Most people work 40 hours and log off.
